One helper is currently required for each session; this may vary according to the current make up of the group. This assistance forms an important contribution to the session and is also a good opportunity to get to know the staff and the environment that your child is in. We find plenty of ways for parents/carers to help in their rota sessions, including preparation of snack, washing up, clearing tables, putting things away and of course the fun part, playing with the children! The rota will be displayed in the foyer of the hall and you will need to check this to see when your allocated session is. A copy will also be placed in your child’s box.

* Held at Brinkworth Earl Danby's Lower School hall.
Your child may stay for lunch club if they do not already do so when you are on duty. If you need to go at your child's usual finishing time this is also acceptable. Staying longer helps the staff to carry out vital administration duties.

It is important that every effort is made to adhere to these times so that the hall is set out and cleared away promptly ensuring the maximum time possible is spent with the children. If circumstances make it impossible for you to attend a duty session, it is your responsibility to contact other parents and attempt to swap duties for a convenient date. Alternatively several parents will do extra sessions for payment (£15.00), please see rota secretary for further information. If you fail to attend a session and fail to arrange cover an additional fee will be incurred. Without this voluntary help we would be unable to keep our fees low due to the need to employ more paid staff. In certain circumstances children may also have been turned away from that session.
